Hello World! (I know that’s the default title, but it’s appropriate)

June 10, 2008

Hello,

My name is Siarah and I am a 14 year old, level 70, Resto druid.

Now, making a blog wasn’t really in my life plan, nor was being a WoW player, but both seemed to have happened to me. First off, I play WoW with my family; my mom and step-dad. I’ve been playing for about a year and a half and have been 70 for about 6 months and loving it. I have no alts, but I’m just working to make my one 70 the best it can be.

I would call myself a pretty avid WoW player (note that Avid and Addict start with the same letter). I spend a lot of my time doing arena and only raiding once and a while. I have hopefully learned my class fairly well and put a lot of time into getting the decent gear I have today. I am in the Aculeus Upon Ordeum guild (yes with Breana, the Gun Lovin’ Dwarf Chick) which is just a casual raiding guild filled with awesome people and good times. Hopefully, I can fill this Blog with some of the experiences I have had with them.

But, this blog didn’t just come out of nowhere; I started by reading other blogs, like TJ, BRK and my favourite, Big Bear Butt (name dropping, name dropping!). My real inspiration came from Breana, with her awesome posts and how her great personality that shines through every time. So, I wrote a couple of posts on the Gun Lovin’ Dwarf Chick site and realised how much I liked it and how much I had to say about my WoW playing.

With any luck somebody will be interested in what I have to say and the stories I have to tell. My blog is pretty much going to range anywhere from PvP to farming, hopefully giving helpful tips and a good laugh along the way. I want to not only tell people about my WoW life and the things I do while I play, but I want to know if there is anything I should be changing or adding to my WoW time. I hope everyone likes it. I’ll do my best to keep it interesting and up to date.

  10. Congrats on the new blog! I hope to read all about your Arena adventures and your rise to all the season 4 “phat lewt”.

Oh, and “I spend a lot of my time doing arena and only raiding once and a while” translates to “I’d rather poke my eyes out with flaming sticks than go into Kara one more time”, a sentiment I wholeheartedly share!
